Specs

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5

Memory: 8 GB of RAM

Storage: 128 GB SSD

Screen: 15.6 Inches

OS: Windows 10

Benefits

Instead of the popular Intel lineup of processors you will find the AMD Ryzen 5 under the hood of this HP model instead. This is a new line of processors released by AMD that they hope will start to chip away at the huge market share Intel currently has. The combination of this Ryzen 5 and 8 GB of memory makes this model well powered and allows it to easily handle the average users day to day tasks.

The flip and fold design is a great feature for anybody who spends any amount of time on the go. It can be awkward trying to haul out your full sized laptop when on the train, subway, or plane but being able to quickly convert it to a tablet when on the go is a huge advantage.

At 4.7 pounds it is lighter than your average 15.6 inch laptop and also thinner at just 0.7 inches thick.

With battery life of up to 10.5 hours you are well covered for a day on the go.

Downsides

HP has went with an SSD drive which is excellent but unfortunately for those that save any amount of data it is a smaller 128 GB. Unless you save very little you will probably have to count on online storage or external storage to cover your needs.

Verdict

The HP Envy 15M-CP0011DX ticks of the important check-boxes for most consumers with the only really concern being the lack of space available. Luckily you have plenty of alternatives for additional storage.
