When browsing the laptop market you will find your typical low, medium and high end models but laptops like the Razer Blade RZ09-02385E92-R3U1 deserve a whole new category just to themselves. The makers of these laptops put great care in making sure every design decision is done perfectly, and while these models are not cheap for the high end users out there that demand the best they are usually well worth the money. Below we will take a close look at this model and see just how well it stacks up.
Processor: Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB of RAM
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Screen: 15.6 Inches
OS: Windows 10
You expect a laptop in this price range to have great performance and that is exactly what you get with the Razer Blade RZ09-02385E92-R3U1. It includes a high end Intel Core i7 and with many “typical” laptops having only 8 GB of RAM the addition of 16 GB makes a very real and noticeable difference in this model.
This 15.6 inch model is lighter and thinner than your average full sized laptop. It weighs 4.6 pounds and is only 0.6 inches thick making it great for on the go use.
The Aluminum body makes for a great looking design and is also part of the reason it is so light even with its full sized 15.6 inch display.
Oculus Ready Certified means it is ready to handle the newest technology to hit the gaming market which is virtual reality.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics has 6 GB of dedicated memory so it can handle the intense demands that we see from most modern games.
As great as this laptop is you will still be able to find drawbacks and the first complaint we have is the lack of any serious storage capacity. The 512 GB SSD will be sufficient for many consumers but for those that really put a demand on storage an additional large SATA drive would have gave them ample space.
We can’t wrap up this review without mentioning the obvious downsides and that is cost. With a price tag over $2000 at the time of this review it isn’t going to be within the budget for everybody.
