Downsides
- The keyboard design makes the foot print bigger than comparable models.
- There is no kick stand to support the back of the tablet section. A folded section supports the tablet in a laptop configuration, but this does not work well and keeps on slipping.
Verdict
The combination of the speakers and screen makes this a great tablet to watch movies on. The amount of space it takes up with the keyboard and the faults in the folio design keyboard detract from the overall enjoyment of this Samsung.
This is a pity, as it is very capable in all areas except the keyboard folio design. If Samsung were to add a hinge and make the keyboard thinner, they would have a winner on their hands.
If you want a great looking tablet and are not concerned about the keyboard, it would be worth considering if you can get it on sale. As it stands right now, there are however better options.
