Specs
Processor: AMD FX
Memory: 8 GB of RAM
Storage: 1 TB SATA
Screen: 15.6 Inches
OS: Windows 10
Benefits
– This laptop is well powered due to the AMD FX processor and 8 GB of memory meaning it is going to be a good choice for most types of consumers, home, student or business
– Finding enough storage space for all your files will be easy with the large 1 TB SATA drive
– The Flip-and-Fold design is a must have feature that gives you modes such as laptop, audience, tabletop, presentation and tablet
– At 4.74 pounds it is decently light for a full sized laptop
– The 8.25 hours of battery life it can provide isn’t amazing but decent for a laptop of this size
– Touchscreen is also part of the 15.6 inch HD screen design
Downsides
– An SSD drive seems like a no brainer in this type of laptop but HP has decided against it. Not only would it have improved performance but increased battery life as well due to the lower power consumption of such a drive
– For those that enjoy the ease of use of a tablet even though this model can convert into one due to the large 15.6 inch display it still feels more like carrying a laptop than a regular tablet
Verdict
We are disappointed that an SSD wasn’t included in the HP Envy x360 15M-BQ021DX but that shouldn’t take away from the fact it is otherwise a very well designed laptop with decent performance and great flexibility due to the 360 hinge design.
