Asus is still struggling to make it is a big name worldwide when it comes to smartphones but it certainly isn’t for a lack of trying. Now with its newly released Asus ZenFone 5Q ZC600KL-5Q or Asus Zenfone 5Q for short it’s really making a strong case for itself. The phone, which was released last February, certainly has all it takes to compete with the big guns in the smartphone industry on paper, but only time will tell if its performance on the long term is just as impressive.

Benefits:
The Asus 5Q will run smoothly without glitches thanks to its processor and RAM. The storage whether 64 or 32 GBs supplemented with a microSD slot that can carry up to 400GB will make sure that you never run out of space or have to delete old files.
Both the back and front cameras are pretty decent especially the front camera at 20 megapixels making it a phone more dedicated towards selfies. The battery despite being non-removable still has a high capacity that shouldn’t interfere with your usage of the phone.
This phone only costs around 250 dollars making it very cheap all things considered. You’ll find phones with similar specs by other companies priced at over 500 dollars. The specs along with the tempting price certainly make it a risk worth taking.
Downsides:
The device has a micro USB port rather than a USB type C which is an inconvenience for most people who have already had phones with USB type C and are more comfortable with it. Additionally there’s no Corning Gorilla Glass making the phone more vulnerable to scratches.
Verdict:
This could be Asus’ big break into the smartphone industry and you might be one of those to be a part of it. If the micro USB ordeal doesn’t bug you and you’re looking for an option that isn’t too expensive then this phone was made for you.
