Touch screen technology was a huge deal when it first appeared a few years ago and while we are seeing less of these models hit store shelves there are still plenty of consumers who couldn’t live without it. The all new HP Pavilion x360 14M-CD0001DX features this technology along with some other features that potential buyers will want to be aware of so we will be breaking down the benefits and downsides to this new HP model below.
Processor: Intel Core i3
Memory: 8 GB of RAM
Storage: 500 GB SATA
Screen: 14 Inches
OS: Windows 10
One of the primary benefits this laptop offers is extra mobility for those looking for a bit more than the average full sized laptop can provide. The smaller 14 inch display doesn’t make a huge difference in viewing area but allowed HP to make the laptop quite light at just 3.73 pounds and great for taking on the go
Another feature that increases the mobility factor is the 360 degree flip and fold design. It can easily and quickly go from a standard laptop setup to a tablet and back again so no matter if you are travelling or working from a desk you can find the perfect setup.
By having a full 8 GB of memory this laptop easily beats out most of the budget models that are available and can handle the workload of most consumers quite easily.
One area that the HP Pavilion x360 14M-CD0001DX falls a little bit behind on is storage capacity. While 500 GB isn’t terrible for only being a SATA drive it is about half the size that most models in this price range are offering.
The Intel Core i3 processor is a good budget option and a step up from the low end Celeron model you see in some other options. That being said it still lacks the power an i5 or i7 would be able to provide for this laptop model.
The HP Pavilion x360 14M-CD0001DX is a good option for those who want extra mobility in their laptop purchase and something that is a step above a low end budget laptop option.
