Sceptre is known for making inexpensive, budget televisions. This television is an extension of that brand, but just because they brand themselves as “budget” and “inexpensive” doesn’t mean that the television sets they make are bad or of poor quality. In fact, the Sceptre U858CV-UMR is actually a very good 4K television.
Screen Size: 75 Inches
Display Technology: LED
Connectivity Technology: No

– While the name “Sceptre” may not conjure images of stunning vistas and other crystal clear images found on a 4K television set, make no mistake that this is exactly what the Sceptre U758CV-UMR does. The image quality is fantastic, and this is aided by the 75-inch screen and the Ultra HD technology.
– Four HDMI ports and an HDMI 2.0 port allows you to have all of your devices connected at once, and, with the HDMI 2.0 port, to directly and quickly take any supported device and to upscale that with incredible speed to the native 4K resolution of this television set.
– This is not a Smart TV, and there really is no extended functionality beyond being able to connect devices to the television set. Considering the price is one-thousand dollars, this might be a bit of a problem, but you also need to consider the size, and the image quality, above all else. However, if having that extra functionality is important, then it may be wise to pass on this one.
The Sceptre U758CV-UMR is a great television set that produces some stunning images and allows for you to have a wide variety of devices connected at once. While it may be a bit more expensive than some of the other Sceptre models, it’s important to take note of the sheer size of the television, and the wondrous image quality. If you don’t care about Smart TV functionality, and you just want something that works well, is easy to use, and provides some excellent images, then this may just be the right television set for you!
